Founders

Meet Steve and Angel Sheets.

GG's House did not begin as a plan for an organization. It began with two people opening their home, gathering useful things, and sharing them with people who could use them.

The beginning of GG's House

A practical idea grew through relationships.

Steve and Angel Sheets began GG's House from their detached garage in 2015. What started with donated goods and a willingness to help grew through four locations into an independent, volunteer-run nonprofit.

They continue to lead through the same habits that shaped the beginning: listening first, finding practical solutions, protecting people's dignity, and making room for volunteers and community partners to take part.

The work has never depended on one person doing everything. It has grown because people keep bringing what they have, whether that is time, useful goods, experience, an introduction, encouragement, or financial support.

Current leadership

Still present in the work.

Steve and Angel remain connected to the daily service, community relationships, volunteers, and long-term direction of GG's House. The organization is supported by a volunteer Board and by people who contribute in many different ways.

The green-and-gold campus website also includes the Founders story within the permanent-home campaign.
